Great seat!
I want to second the opinions already that say the Prosport is a well-built, heavy seat. Our 42 inch, 44 pound, 6 year old son fits comfortably in the harness mode and has a couple of inches to grow. ( Note: this will depend on your child's torso height, not total height.) The ability to use latch and tether (in addition to the car's seat belt) when we convert to booster mode will hopefully provide additional stability to the booster function. The seat is relatively narrow and fits perfectly (just a half inch overhang at the front edge of the seat) in the third row of our 2013 Ford Flex.

I am about to order a new one of these and turn ours in to the insurance carrier. I was recently in a rear end collision while traveling with my 2 year old daughter in the back seat in her Recaro ProSPORT. It wasn't a horrible accident, but I was injured from the impact (we were moving around 25mph and hit). I turned around and saw that the seat didn't budge and my daughter didn't seem to be in any distress at all. She actually was still happy and singing away. I took her to the doctor to have her checked out and she's fine. The car seat is easy to install, use, and she likes it. It also doesn't seem to get overly hot like our old one. It's easy to climb in and out of...but the best part, as I said, is that IT DID NOT MOVE during the accident and she was not hurt. I am getting a new one...thinking I might get a girly color this time :)
